Developed a turn-key electrical test machine for tier-1 automotive customer, collaborating closely to define specs and deliver scalable production solutions.
This off-line machine was designed to perform a very specific product electrical verification process for a tier-1 automotive customer. Early in the project the specifications for the testing process were unclear, so APTUS partnered with the customer’s in-house engineering staff to provide process mock-ups with several variable testing parameters. Once the desired test process was finalized, APTUS designed, documented, and managed the turn-key machine build to meet the customer’s production needs. Fabrication, wiring, programming, and assembly of multiple machines were provided by a sub-contractor to APTUS.
