A tier-1 automotive manufacturer needed a handheld alignment fixture for a manual assembly process. APTUS used existing 3D CAD data of the customer’s product and created a custom fixture that was ergonomic, easy to use, and exceeded the production accuracy requirement. This fixture was provided on a quick-turn basis and was engineered and assembled within 2 weeks.
