Delivered a custom loading machine ahead of schedule, bridging manual loading to automated flow for a new high-volume production line.
Developed as a component for a new, high-volume production assembly line start-up, APTUS was outsourced to build this production Loading Machine for a repeat client. The machine’s purpose is to transition products from an associate-loaded magazine to the production line. APTUS provided design and documentation as well as project management through the fabrication and assembly/ start-up process. Tennessee Tool & Engineering of Oak Ridge, Tennessee provided all electrical, programming, fabrication, and assembly. This machine was delivered to the client ahead of schedule and was placed on the production floor before any other custom machines on the new line.
