Designed a rugged, quick-release port plug to streamline a client’s leak test process in a demanding production environment.
A client’s leak test process requires temporarily blocking a port in their product. This port-blocking plug needed to be simple to install and remove while also being rugged enough to survive the production environment. This design allows the plug to be locked into place with an existing spring clip. The plug is twisted to “cam” itself free of the spring lock.
