Production Engineering
Modernized a legacy manufacturing process with a new standalone machine design, delivering full documentation and build support for in-house execution.
APTUS was engaged by a high-volume manufacturer to update an existing process with a new off-line standalone machine. APTUS combined elements from existing equipment, legacy foreign machine documentation, and original design elements to create an updated design for this machine. A complete documentation package was provided to the manufacturer, who chose to build the machine using in-house resources. APTUS supported the build during the fabrication and assembly process to help bring the project to successful completion.
