I have an idea
Great, that’s where most of our favorite projects start. We’ll help you find out if it works, who it’s for, and what it will take.
I have a sketch or a rough mockup
You’re further along than you think. We’ll turn it into a clear plan and a mockup you can test before you spend on full design.
I need it designed and prototyped
That’s right in our wheelhouse. Industrial, mechanical, software, and electrical design, with prototypes built and tested in our own shop.
My design is done. I need it made
We can pick it up from here. Drawings, suppliers, quotes, and a pilot run, so production starts right. LaunchPad can carry the whole thing.
I’m already making it and want it better
We do that too. Lower costs, fewer headaches on the line, and cleaner drawings for a product that’s already selling.
I’m honestly not sure
That’s completely normal. Tell us what you have, and we’ll figure out the first step together.
Phase 1
Invention
The simplest phase, and the most important. What does it do, who is it for, and what will it take to get to market?
Define the product
What is it? What makes it unique?
Define the market
Who will buy it, and is it worth the investment?
Confirm the function
Build a rough mockup. Does the idea work?
Phase 2
Creation
Ideas grow into real, buildable designs. Prototypes get more accurate and more functional, and your product starts to take on a personality of its own.
Design
Industrial design makes it stand out and easy to use. Mechanical, electrical, and software design make it work, every time. Design for manufacturing keeps it buildable and on budget.
Prototype
We build, test, and refine, in the real world and with real users.
Production prep
We finalize the design, plan the budget and schedule, and start lining up suppliers.
Phase 3
Execution
For many customers, this is where it really begins. Time to share your idea with the world.
Documentation & sourcing
Drawings that get you exactly what you ordered, and competitive quotes from the right suppliers.
Production
Pilot runs, testing, and certification. We check the parts and keep vendors on track.
LaunchPad
